Kitty Klinic has a program of Environmental Enrichment. This involves the adding one or more factors to the cat's home environment to improve the physical/psychological welfare of the pet. This promotes expression of more normal cat behaviors and a decrease in abnormal behaviors. This can include social stimulation, altered feeding practices, sensory stimulation, the addition of structure or other recommendations.

Environmental Enrichment can significantly reduce stress, increase cat happiness, and facilitate owner/cat relationships. Recommendations need to be tailored to each pet and should be preceeded by a complete medical examination. Puzzle feeders; toys that let cats stalk, pounce, and eat similar to normal cat hunting; and sensory stimulation items are available for sale.
